My new book, "Our Billie" was launched at a special concert at St Wilfrid's school, Featherstone on Thursday April 1 at 7 pm. The book is to honour and celebrate a little girl's brief life. It's a sort of modern urban folk/fairytale about parenting, loss, friendship, carrying on and standing up for stuff.
The book is doing really well, it featured in The Guardian, the Yorkshire Post, Good Housekeeping, She, Woman, and the Daily Mail and on GMTV with Lorraine Kelly. We had radio features on Radio 4, BBC World Service and closer to home, Calendar, BBC Radio Leeds and the Pontefract and Castleford Express.
